Frequently Asked Questions
What is my Single Sign On (SSO) Account and how do I use it?
Last Updated 4 months ago
Your Single Sign On account is a new account at WJU meant to simplify logging into all the web apps you use everyday. Over time, Information Technology Services will reconfigure apps to use this single username and password.
Your SSO account username has been made to match the username you currently use for Blackboard. It includes the following
- First initial of your first name
- Complete last name
- Last 3 digits of your student ID number
Your SSO account initial password will be WJU plus the last four digits of tour Social Security Number plus an exclamation point. For example, if your SSN is 123-45-6789, your password would be WJU6789!.
Students who do not have Social Security Numbers, please use WJU0316! as your inital password.
Try your new SSO account to sign into Academus. Information regarding other applications moving to this account will be announced as they are ready.
Work study students please note: If you use an individual account to logon to office computers, this is that username and password.
ITS has deployed self-service password reset software for your new SSO account. In order to use it in the future you must log in to https://password.wju.edu and set your security questions up. We encourage you to do this as soon as possible.
The login screen for your SSO account will look like this:
